Tip Tracker for Servers: Privacy Policy

Tip Tracker for Servers is published by DIGITAL SHIJIL LLC ("we"). This policy explains what the app does with information. The short version: your income figures stay on your phone. There are no accounts, no ads and no analytics, and the app's own code never connects to the internet.

Your income figures stay on your device

Workplaces, hourly wages, shifts, hours, card and cash tips, tip-outs, tip pool amounts, sales, covers, notes and goals are stored only in the app's private storage on your phone. We do not receive them, and we have no server that could.

• There is no sign-in and no account.
• There is no advertising and no advertising ID.
• There is no analytics or crash-reporting library. We see only the anonymous crash and performance statistics that Google Play shows every developer (Android vitals).
• The app does not use your location, camera, contacts or photos, and asks for no storage permission. Files you export or restore pass through the system file picker and the share sheet, and only when you choose.
• The optional app lock asks Android to check your fingerprint, face or screen lock. Android does the check; the app only learns whether it succeeded and never receives biometric data.

Google Play Billing

The optional Pro unlock is sold through Google Play. Google processes the payment; we never see your card or payment details. Google's Play Billing library, which the app must include to sell Pro, sends Google its own diagnostic information about billing (for example, whether a connection to Google Play succeeded). For the Data safety section this is declared as:

App info and performance > Diagnostics: collected, not shared, required

That information goes to Google under the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy), not to us, and we cannot see or delete it. To support this library the app's installed package carries the INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE permissions, added by Google's billing library; nothing you type is sent.

Backups and your own copies

If you use Android's own backup or phone-to-phone transfer, your shifts, workplaces and settings are included in that backup, which is held by Google under your Google account settings. Files you create (the backup file, CSV and PDF) go only where you save or send them.

Your control

• Settings > Export all my data saves every workplace, shift and goal as one file you choose where to keep.
• Settings > Delete all data erases every shift, workplace, goal and setting from the phone. Uninstalling the app does the same.

Not tax advice

The tax-time summary and PDF are totals of what you entered, for personal record-keeping. They are not official documents, tax calculations or tax advice.

Children

The app is for working adults and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes

If the app ever changes what it does with information, this page and the Play listing will say so before the change ships.
