The short version

• There is no account and no sign-in. Everything you record stays on your phone.
• The app has no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it asks for no location or Bluetooth access.
• The only data that leaves your phone is what Google Play Billing sends to Google when the app checks or makes a purchase.
• You can export everything, or delete everything, from Settings.

What the app stores on your phone

Your vehicles (name, make, model, year, trim, engine, VIN, plate, purchase date and odometer, an optional photo), odometer readings, the service schedule, service records with costs, notes, parts and receipt photos, and your settings. They are kept in the app's private storage. If you use Android's own backup or device transfer, your records, settings and photos travel with it to your new phone; the app never uploads anything itself.

What leaves your phone, and when

The app's own code makes no network requests. Google Play Billing, which the app uses to sell the one-time Pro unlock, connects to Google Play when the app starts, when it returns to the screen and when you buy. Google Play Billing collects diagnostics about that connection for Google to operate and troubleshoot purchases. For the Data safety form this is declared as: App info and performance > Diagnostics: collected, not shared, required. Payment details are handled entirely by Google Play; the app never sees them. PDF, CSV and backup files are created only when you ask, and go only where you send them with Android's share sheet or file picker.

Permissions

• Notifications: asked only when you turn reminders on, never at first launch. If you say no, the app keeps working and shows how to allow them later.
• No camera permission: receipt and vehicle photos are taken by your camera app or chosen with Android's photo picker.
• No location, Bluetooth, microphone, contacts or storage permission.

Your choices and deleting your data

Settings > Export all my data saves everything as one file you keep. Settings > Delete all data removes every vehicle, reading, record, photo and setting from the phone and returns the app to how it was when installed. Uninstalling the app also removes everything. DIGITAL SHIJIL LLC holds no copy of your data, so there is nothing else to delete.

Children

The app is meant for people aged 13 and over and is not designed for children.

No official status

The app is a personal record book. Service intervals start as generic figures that you should check against your owner's manual. For personal record-keeping. Not an official document.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published at the address above with a new "Last updated" date.
