Privacy Policy — Subscription Tracker

This policy covers the Android app Subscription Tracker (package com.digitalshijil.subtracker), published by Digital Shijil LLC, 34 N Franklin Ave Suite 687-#5144, Pinedale, WY 82941, USA.

The short version

The app does not collect your data, because it has nowhere to send it. There is no account, no login and no server. Everything you enter stays on your phone. We cannot see your subscriptions, and neither can anyone else.

What the app stores, and where

Everything below is stored only on your device, in the app's private storage:

• the subscriptions you add — name, price, currency, billing cycle, billing date, category, notes, and any free-trial dates;
• the label you give a payment method, such as "Visa 1234" or "UPI". This is a label you typed for your own recognition. The app has no field for a card number, and no way to accept one;
• a record of price changes, written when you edit a price;
• any exchange rates you enter;
• your settings — display currency, reminder timing, theme.

None of this is transmitted anywhere. The app has no server to transmit it to.

What the app does not do

• It does not connect to your bank, and never asks for banking credentials.
• It does not read your email.
• It does not read your SMS or any other messages. It does not request SMS permission, so it could not read them even if it tried.
• It does not read your contacts, calendar, photos or location.
• It does not contain any analytics, tracking or crash-reporting service.
• It does not show ads.
• It does not create a profile of you or sell anything about you to anyone.

Network access

The app itself makes no network requests and works fully offline, including in airplane mode.

The app does include Google Play Billing, so that you can make the optional one-time Pro purchase, and the Google Play In-App Review library, so that Google can show you a rating dialog. Both are Google's own components and they need network access to reach Google Play; this is why Android lists a network permission for the app. When you make a purchase, Google processes it under Google's Privacy Policy — we receive no payment details, no card number and no personal information from that transaction beyond whether the purchase succeeded on the device in front of you.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app shows reminders before a subscription renews and before a free trial ends. These are generated on your device from the data you entered. Nothing is sent to a server to produce them, and no push service is involved. You can turn them off in the app or in Android's settings at any time, and the rest of the app keeps working.

Backups

If you have Android Backup switched on, Android may include this app's database in your device backup, under your own Google account, encrypted with your device credentials. That is a feature of Android, controlled by you in Android's settings, not something the app sends anywhere itself. You can exclude the app from backup in Android's settings.

Your data is yours

• Export. Settings → Your data → Export all my data writes everything the app holds as a JSON file, to a location you choose. It is free, for everyone. Pro users can also export CSV.
• Delete. Settings → Your data → Delete all data permanently removes every subscription, price change and exchange rate from the device. There is no copy anywhere else to delete, because there was never a copy anywhere else.
• Uninstalling the app also removes all of it.

Because we never receive your data, we cannot export or delete it on your behalf, and we cannot restore it if you delete it. Keep an export if that matters to you.

Children

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it and the updated version is published at the same URL. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on Google Play.
