Privacy Policy — Daily Quran Verse Widget

Effective date: 24 September 2026 Publisher: Digital Shijil LLC Contact: contact@digitalshijil.com This policy lives at: https://apps.digitalshijil.com/quran-verse-widget/privacy/

The short version

Daily Quran Verse Widget has no accounts and no sign-in. It has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Everything you do in the app stays on your phone. We never receive any of it, because the app has no server to send it to.

What the app keeps on your phone

This information is stored only in the app's private storage on your device.

What leaves your phone

Nothing is sent to us or to any analytics, advertising or tracking service. The only network activity is between the app and Google Play, when you buy Pro or when the app checks that a purchase is still valid. Google's Play Billing Library, which the app uses for that, also sends Google diagnostic logs about its own calls (whether a purchase check succeeded or failed, and connection errors) so Google can keep billing working. These contain nothing you wrote or saved in the app, and we never see them. Google handles all of this under the Google Play Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy. We receive no card details.

When you choose to share a verse, the app hands an image to the app you pick (for example a messaging app). What happens next is up to you and that app.

Backups

If Android backup is turned on for your Google account, Android may include the app's saved verses, streak days and settings in your device backup, and restore them to a new phone. The Pro note is left out of backups; Google Play restores your purchase instead. You can turn backup off in your phone's settings.

Permissions

The app does not ask for your location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera. It never works out prayer or fasting times from where you are: the Ramadan planner shows only the times you enter yourself.

Your control

Children

The app is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at the address above with a new effective date. We hold no data about you, so a change could never apply to data we already hold.
