Needle (package com.digitalshijil.needle) is a to-do list that works entirely on your
phone. It is published on Google Play by Digital Shijil.
Nothing. Needle has no account, no sign-in, no servers, no analytics, no crash-reporting service and no advertising. Your tasks and reminders are stored only in the app's private storage on your device, and the app's own code never sends them anywhere.
Needle includes Google Play's billing library so that a paid upgrade can be offered in a future version. No purchase is offered in this version. That library requests internet access and may send technical information about billing requests to Google; it never receives your tasks. Any purchase you make in future is handled by Google Play under Google's privacy policy, and we never see your payment details.
We do not share, sell or transfer any data, because none of it ever reaches us.
"Export all my data" saves a file to a location you choose on your phone. Needle never uploads it.
If Android device backup is turned on, your task list may be included in that backup under your Google account's settings. That backup is handled by Android, and we cannot see or access it.
Use "Delete all data" in the app's menu, which removes every task and cancels every reminder. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in your phone's settings, also deletes everything.
Needle is intended for adults and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone.
Any change to this policy will appear on this page with a new date.
