Privacy Policy: Bakery Orders & Cake Pricing

Bakery Orders & Cake Pricing ("the app") is published by VELTIS LABS LLC ("we"). This policy explains what happens to information in the app. It is published at https://apps.digitalshijil.com/bakery-orders/privacy/.

The short version

What you type stays on your phone. The app has no account, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. It does not read your contacts and does not use your location. We, the publisher, never receive your customers, your orders, your recipes or your money records.

Information you enter

The app is an order book and costing tool for people who bake to order. You may enter:

• your customers' names and phone numbers, typed by you (the app has no contacts permission and never reads your address book);
• orders: occasion, pickup or delivery date and time, delivery address, items, flavours, servings, design notes, the allergens a customer mentioned, notes and status;
• inspiration photos a customer sent you, chosen with the Android photo picker;
• deposits and payments you received;
• your pantry prices, recipes, products, hourly rate, target margin, daily order limit and business name.

All of it is stored in the app's private storage on your device. It is not uploaded, synced or sent to us or to anyone else by the app. If you enter information about your customers, you are responsible for having their permission to keep it, as you would in a paper order book.

Photos chosen with the photo picker are copied, reduced in size, into the app's private storage. The app has no camera, storage or photo-library permission.

Information that leaves your phone only when you choose

• Directions. When you tap Directions on a delivery, the address you typed is passed to the maps app you choose. What that app does with it is governed by its own policy.
• Calling. When you tap Call, the phone number is passed to your phone app. The app never places calls or sends messages itself.
• Order sheets, prep lists and backups. An order sheet PDF, a prep list PDF, or an "Export all my data" backup file leaves your device only when you share or save it with the Android share sheet or file picker.
• Android backup. If you have turned on Google backup for your device, Android may include the app's database, settings and photos in your own device backup, under Google's terms. You can turn this off in your device settings.

Purchases and diagnostics

Pro is bought through Google Play. Google processes the payment; the app never sees your card or payment details. The app asks Google Play which purchases your account owns so it can unlock Pro.

The Google Play Billing library built into the app sends Google diagnostic information about the billing connection (for example, whether a request to Google Play succeeded). In Play's Data safety terms this is declared as App info and performance > Diagnostics: collected, not shared, required. It is handled by Google under the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). We do not receive it and cannot delete it.

The app itself makes no network requests. It contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or maps SDK.

Notifications

If you switch on the morning reminder, the app asks for permission to show notifications and shows at most one notification a day: how many orders are due tomorrow, and how many of today's pickups still have a balance to collect. It is scheduled on your device; nothing is sent to a server.

Payments are records, not transactions

The app records deposits and payments you have already received. It does not take, send or process payments, and it never asks for card or bank details.

Keeping and deleting your information

Your information stays on your device until you delete it. Cancelling an order keeps it in your records as cancelled; deleting an order removes it with its payments and photos. Settings > Delete all data erases every order, payment, photo, recipe, product, price and setting from the app and cancels the reminder. Uninstalling the app also removes its data from the device. A Pro purchase stays with your Google account.

Record-keeping disclaimer

For personal record-keeping. Not an official document. Order sheets and prep lists are a record of what you entered; they are not invoices, receipts, labels or tax documents. The app gives no food-safety, allergen, labelling or licensing advice: cottage food and home-bakery rules differ from place to place, so check your local rules.

Children

The app is intended for adults running a home bakery business and is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable).

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at the address above with a new effective date. Material changes, such as any new data collection, will also be described in the app's release notes.
